Some of you may not know that we began a book club a few weeks ago in the social groups. Because we have more than 25 members in our group, we also have a forum. But if you don't belong to the group, you will not be able to see the forum nor be able to join in.

So, please PM me and ask for an invitation to join our book club. We nominate and vote on books we want to read and discuss. So far, we've read 2 books by Irvin Yalom - "The Gift of Therapy" and "Staring at the Sun". We've also discussed the novel "Other Women" and the book "In Session".

Discussions and comments are ongoing on the forum. Just because someone last commented a month ago about a particular topic in a particular book doesn't mean that you cannot also chime in at a later date.

The books we select, whether fiction or nonfiction, will have a therapy theme.

We're ready to begin the nomination and voting process again for new titles to read. This is a great time to join. Please PM me. We'd love to have you in our group.

Sent you an invitation. btw, anyone can PM anyone whether 'friended' or not. Also, if people prefer they can make their interest known on this thread instead of PMing me. All are welcome.

Not looking at him is about keeping aspects of self hidden/secret. We know that is not the healthy choice. Keep working on this - you will get there.

Accept there are parts. Be kind and gentle with them. Working with parts and feelings is the key to happiness. We have been happy before when listened to them and accepted them and were open to feelings. Write in your journal - it is safe to do so.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
