Its been 4 months now since my therapist went out of the country to take care of her sick relative (cancer). She was calling/ emailing every week, but now its been 2 weeks since I heard anything and I'm so worried about her. Probably she is just extremely busy taking care of her family, but I worry that something happened to her.
Its making me nuts to not have therapy.Been falling apart for 2 months now and can't seem to get back on my feet. There's no one else I can afford to go to, I can't find any groups to go to, and mostly just read to escape reality for a little while. I've gotten obsessive about reading books to escape. I just need her to come home I wish she would at least call to let me know she's okay. She knows I worry... I wish she would just come home.

Four months is too long! Is there no "backup" therapist you can see?

My T is going away for two months and actually suggested I see someone else in the meantime.

I can't imagine how you're able to manage. Best wishes to you. I hope she returns soon. But, on a positive note - look- you've 'survived' 4 months. You're strong and probably stronger than you thought. hang in there - she'll be back eventually.

No back up T. I have no money. My T gives me an extremely reduced sliding fee (EXTREMELY) and I could barely afford her. So no money for another T. and i wouldnt' want to anyway. I'm sure a bunch of you all understand about it being hard to open up to anyone in the 1st place--and definitely not another new person.

I miss her terribly. So worried. I just need her to call. So I know she is alive.
Her son never updates his facebook page so he doesn't have anything on there about his mom.
In the past few months I (and the inside kids/alters) have been regressing a lot. It makes me sad.

I got a little email from her today at LAST. She has been really sick but doing better. But she didn't say anything about coming home. I am just relieved to know she is alive I really need her to come home. I hope she will call me soon because I need to talk to her about so many things.
Thanks for this!
