I guess sometimes it just takes one thing you do wrong to get a T who really cares about you a dose of tough love.
I am ashamed of my behavior. And, I totally messed up this time. Yeah, she has her own life too. She also has feelings. She is not some "perfect guru" type of individual. And, after the frustration in her voice stopped. And after she said things that seemed hurtful...I get it. I finally get it. But damn, I wish I didn't do what I did to have to learn that lesson!!

bottom line...she wouldn't have worked it out, tough love or else, if she didn't care. kd

We all do the wrong thing at times. Taking responsibility and learning from what we do is a sign of progress. I agree with KD: your therapist cares enough about you to want you to learn and continue to improve.
Please don't be too hard on yourself. |

Sorry you had to learn this the tough way. IDK but some things don't sink in otherwise, eh? I don't know what happened, but at least your T is not only still talking with you, but she is still talking WITH you.
