So, I'm starting therapy on Thursday and I'm not sure what to expect. Nor do I know the actual reason I'm starting therapy.... It was suggested by my pdoc and my husband agreed, so I kinda got jumped on about it. I think my pdoc's reasoning is to help me relieve anxiety/OCD/Bipolar, and my husband said I need to go to work on my cognitive skills. I've been thinking about going to therapy for the past month or 2, but I didn't think I would get in to see a therapist this fast, so now I'm kinda freaking out. I really don't want to go through my whole life story again (not to mention, I don't remember much anymore). I'm sure my pdoc wrote notes up about what to talk about, but I have no idea what those notes say, so I'm pretty much going in there blind....

I know I was very intimidated the day the weeks leading up to my first appointment.. I didn't want to rehash things in my life, can I let another person in, etc.. However, I found that a relief! I hope you have the same kind of experience and that it goes well for you!!
