So, have we heard from WePow and I missed it?

LOL !!! You guys are too much fun! I am going to post an update :-)

((((All))))) Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for every single thought sent my way.
I am home now. I am not able to share details because it was intense and super personal. But I felt you all supporting me and I laid back into those open arms and knew I was loved. I knew that no matter what happened in session, I would be supported when I came back to PC. That feeling was amazing. So thank you for being here for me when I needed it the most of all.

My T said to not overthink this. In fact, thinking about anything isn't something I even want to do. I just want to feel about it. I want to do what my T tells me to do in EMDR with the good stuff and allow it to soak in.

Work was a mix of being blessed with some things and being tested with others. But I was able to use my resources to stay grounded. I knew what I needed to face in EMDR and I know my T could not do EMDR with me unless I was grounded enough to maintain awareness. So that was what I was able to do.

I faced the root issue even though I did not want to do it. I was honest with all my emotions. And I allowed my T to be there with me as a witness to the whole thing. And he still loved me and gave me a big hug at the end of session! He didn't think anything less of me at all by what I shared.

The ending of session was beyond words in healing. It was grace. That is the only word that fits. That and JOY as the emotion. My T went over session with me and I totally want to pay him for that extra time, but I know he would tell me it was his gift to me. My OCD will make me ask him if I can pay him for his time though! LOL.
But wow. What happened in EMDR tonight made it all worth every tear.

Don't give up guys. Keep on walking the walk. Keep letting yourself fall down and step backwards and reach out for help and get back up and move forward again.
Healing is a dance.

I am going to post this and will send it to my amazing T. And then rest and sleep.

SPRING

In the breast of winter
