![]() "Lose Yourself" Palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy she's nervous, but on the surface she looks calm and ready to drop bombs, but she keeps on forgetting what she wrote down, the whole crowd goes so loud she opens her mouth, but the words won't come out she's choking how, were just joking now The clock's run out, time's up over, bloah! Snap back to reality, Oh there goes gravity Oh, there goes Rabbit, she choked she's so mad, but she won't give up that easy, no. |

Isn't eminen a gangsta rapper? Can you imagine a gangsta in therapy? Court-ordered, perhaps...

eminem can speak volumes, if people really listen theirs always something someone can relate too.
I think this verse is a great example of many peoples feelings with therapy. people look at eminem and think bad bad bad, but I will swear on the lives off everyone I love and care about, that if it was not for eminems songs, I wouldnt have lasted this long in life, he gave me a path to vent through, gave me a safety. so dont judge him by his label, he holds alot of emotion he fought through alot, not just gangsta stuff, he was never a gangsta till he actually got into selling records, its all hyped, he dealt with bullys, rough child hood, divorce, depression. his walked the same path as alot of us have, he just chose to express it differently to us. the lyrics to this song sum him up pretty well: http://artists.letssingit.com/eminem...ngbird-4p78x3t |

I use to find songs like that and put them on loop on my car CD player driving to work in the morning :-) like Meatloaf's "It Just Won't Quit".
And I never really sleep anymore And I always get those dangerous dreams And I never get a minute of peace And I gotta wonder what it means Maybe it's nothing and I'm under the weather Maybe it's just one of those bugs going round Maybe I'm under a spell and it's magic Maybe there's a witch doctor with an office in town Oh is this a blessing or is it a curse? Does it get any better? Can it get any worse? Will it go on forever or is it over tonight? Does it come with the darkness? Does it bring out the light? Is it richer than diamonds or just a little cheaper than spit? (I don't know what it is) I don't know what it is but it just won't quit

I went with my friend's older teenage son to see 8 Mile (eminem's biography). I was very impressed. We spent dinner that evening re-enacting scenes from the movie for my friend. We were gonna do a mother-son scene and her son goes, okay, which part am I playing? Funny kid!!! I told him, I don't like when people are funnier than me! And the little actress who passed suddenly last year was in it, she was so good. Definitely worth a rental.
