So I went to see my therapist on Monday and wasn’t prepared for the shock I got. It seems that right before I got there my psychiatrist had called her and during their conversation she told my therapist that she was going to drop me as a patient. Somehow this seemed a bit odd, I can get her dropping me as a patient but it seems that I should be the first person to find out about this, and not have my therapist be in the awkward position of giving me that information. I contacted my psychiatrist’s office and set up an appointment for yesterday just to see if there was a miscommunication or what was going on. When I saw my psychiatrist yesterday she told that she was in fact dropping me as a patient and that I would be receiving a letter to that effect, clearly she didn’t plan on having any direct contact with me to explain things to me but just send off a letter and be done with me. So I get the fun of finding a new psychiatrist but with the added problem of me being labeled a "difficult patient" this is due to me stopping my medications without calling her first, but I did tell her what I did on our next visit, seems if I had been a little less honest I wouldn’t be in this predicament.

Yes, I stopped Abilify, still have other meds that I take, they say Abilify can cause sucidial thoughts, and that was happening so I stopped taking it and the thoughs went away, and so did my Dr.
