Hi Skittles,

Do you only see a Pdoc, or do you see a therapist also? If you see a therapist, can you try talking with your therapist about your experiences? I know a lot of folks see both a Pdoc and a therapist, and sometimes I know PDocs just prescribe medication and...well....aren't always as gifted at listening or giving support, or helping to resolve practical issues (or so it seems). I wonder if it might help to talk with a T now that you at least know it's not a medication side effect?

Take care,
ErinBear

Hi Skittles,

I agree with ErinBear actually.

Psychiatric Doctors, tend to be more interested in the medical side of things, and some of them have an awful bed-side manner.

Share this with your T, they will be more understanding.

SORRY Skittles.... but when I gave YOU my advice thru PM yesterday over this matter I already thought you were seeing a T - you Pdoc will not totally understand how and why you are having these feelings for she does not deal with the workings of a wounded mind.... please seek the advice given to you here from the others and find your self a T to talk all this out with. If the $$$ is not available for the visit right now - WE are always here for YOU.

Hi Skittles,

I'm glad you see both a T and a PDoc - and I'm wishing you all the best for your T visit today. I hope your T can talk with you about this, and provide some support. Thinking of you, Skittles.....

Take care,
ErinBear
