I was listening to a radio show where a very well to do older gentleman critised someone for being "a bit to fat" and suddenly the thought that he is most proberbly repeating the oppressive/judge mental ideas of his upbringing and in that moment his words became almost pitiful. I think it just goes to show money and education do not always equal a healthy adult if we do not have that inner awareness". I just had this picture of a little boy having to survive a tyrantanical mother and/or father. Actually that's most of the ruling elite!
Thanks for this!

Excellent point. It is amazing to see how therapy can make a person far more aware of how we subconsciously go about being repeating what we learned as children.

my mother once made a comment to my brother about my second cousin being flat-chested and how that negatively impacted her romantic opportunities, and he nodded, and I just wanted to jump up and strangle both of them, because I realized in that moment that's how they looked at me, like it was the ONLY THING IN THE WORLD THAT MATTERED. Small-minded pea brains that they both are. Well, maybe people here will agree with them, and certainly a whole industry was built around it, but WTH. You help ME, not hurt me like this.
