Occasionally I wonder what happened to posters who were very regular here and then disappeared. Hopefully they healed and no longer need us so much, or maybe they changed their screen name like treehouse did. For example, I've really missed Roadrunner because she always gives such sensible advice.
Also, I haven't seen dubblemonkey's thoughts lately. There are others, but I won't go through my list right now. Any of you curious or have informations about our mia's?

I still think about members who were around when I first joined. Like Dreamseeker, Jexa, Melbadaze, deliquesce, bluemoon, chaotic...Tree of course. I don't know how many have left since then or who is just not as active anymore. But I still think of them. Forums are funny like that...

I miss skysblue! Others too. I wonder how melba is, and deli. We have to be careful, though, and not mention anyone's old and new name in the same thread because some have changed their name due to confidentiality issues.

Because I became a little tired of my avator, the crow...I considered re-casting myself here on PC, and then it struck me that it would be choosing to end a kind of "life" here.

And I chose to go on living.

Appreciate me now, and avoid the rush!

I think it's a natural ebb and flow. Soon after I came on, people complained the site had changed and people disappeared. I was like, what are they complaining about, the site is great! I like the new people! now the site is changing again, and people are moving off and on again. I used to be able to keep up following "new posts", now there is so much activity, that has become impossible, I DO have to check by specific forum. and the forums seem to have more defined, strongly delineated personalities. not saying that's good or bad, maybe i'm just becoming more aware of it. plus PC is a timechewer.

ETA: you think about why you're here, what you get out of it, what you put into it, what you think other people get from your specific contribution. if you are invested in "being right", you're in the wrong place. but helping another person find their truth helps both persons - I think that's why T and I do work well together.

Seems like if you're not currently in therapy, you'd be less interested in the entire process and less likely to post here regularly. I'm obsessed with therapy (and this forum) when I'm seeing a T. When I'm taking a break, I tend to take a break mentally too.

Tractionbeam was having some real specific issues a while back, and then she disappeared. Kind of worried about her.

I too often think of members who were here regularly when I first joined - the same people Lily mentioned.

I miss knothead, jerrymichele (still talk on Facebook), daggy, and several others. Joining a forum is a lot like starting a new school. Some people you meet and connect with right away, some you meet then fall out of touch with, others become unexpected friends...interesting.

Are you saying these people are in here just under a new screen name?

I disappeared for awhile due to work and general life chaos. It's hard to know if you are missed, if you are posting things people like to read or if you are just tolerated politely.
Kinda like wondering if my T loves me or I'm just part of the client pool.

How do you change your screen name? My husband got on my computer today, and was reading my e-mail and what I had up on this forum. So, now he knows my screen name and if he ever comes to this forum, he's going to be able to know exactly what I've posted. I'm really pissed and stressed about that. I had changed all my passwords for my e-mail and facebook, but we work together and I was just going to the bathroom. I didn't know I had to log out of everything every time I go to the bathroom. Of course his response is he didn't know I was hiding something so he thought it was okay to use my computer. UGH!
