who do i call when my t and pdoc can share information? do i call my t first about my anxiety or do i call my pdoc?

on a side note i can't tell if my anxiety is strictly from therapy or if it's because of the side effect of my meds (it's listed under side effects).. or possibly if therapy is exacperating my side effects?

If you want a medical answer, call your pdoc. If you want someone to help you cope with anxiety, call your T.

I'd probably start with your T. He or she can help you decide if medical intervention is needed.

I usually start with my T unless it's a medication issue.

Depends on how you want to work through it. I would call my pdoc to get a med. I would call my t if I knew he could talk me through it.

I would call your T first, and then if it is your meds then pdoc.

I would do t first, then pdoc. And, just because they CAN share information, doesn't mean they always do, so make sure whichever one you don't call, you talk to at your next appointment to keep them updated
