Since my sessions are every two weeks, there's a lot that goes on in between. This time in particular my thoughts have just been racing and piling up as pages and pages (15 and counting in just two days!) of journaling. Whittling that all down to what I want to mention to t in a 50m session gets me anxious - I feel rushed and get frustrated if we spend a lot of time on one topic.

So I am thinking of starting a list of all these random thoughts I've been having - maybe organizing it the night before session so I can put my immediate concerns at the top. I want to ask t to keep this list for me so I don't have to obsess over the time thing - she will already know what my concerns are and since I know we can't cover them all in one session, I know they will be available next time I come - and I don't need to worry about remembering them from session to session.

Has anyone else ever done this?

I keep a list, but don't bring it to sessions with me. I do review it beforehand, though, mostly to look for themes or big stuff.
