I did sort of run into her, once. It was about an hour before my session, and I went into a coffee shop to get some coffee. She was with another woman at a table, eating and talking. We made eye contact, and I smiled. She stopped before biting into her sandwich, with her mouth open, and stared. It was comical, but awkward, and I looked away and proceeded to order coffee before leaving. I don't know if she actually recognized me, because she had this look on her face like, "Do I know that person? I should know that person."

Now grocery shopping would be awkward, because how many excuses do you have to get away if you actually make eye contact? "I, uh. I gotta. The lettuce. I've gotta go get that lettuce, now. See ya. *RUN*"

I used to run into my old T a lot. She worked for the university counseling center and I worked in the same campus building as the center. So, it was commonplace for me to see her coming and going. I said I was fine with her acknowledging me, so we usually exchanged a smile and went on our way.

I've never seen my current Ts (individual and group) though. We live in a big city with a least half a dozen little cities mashed together around it, so we all live in different areas. I'd love to see my individual T out, especially with her little ones, just out of curiosity. But then again, I wish we could be friends which obviously won't happen. And I'd really like for her to see me out with friends, having a good time. I probably won't ever run into her unless I go up to her side of town for some reason.
