I can see where you're coming from. I have a good relationship with my parents and I have a few close friends, but I've always longed for a romantic relationship. I'm 22 and I've been single all my life, it really furthers my depression. And I get so angry and jealous and depressed when I hear people talk about their partners, often like it's no big deal, like it's just something they take for granted. Well, I'm not that lucky and I never will be. /emo rant

MCL - you're so very right. My 3 dogs bring me much joy and comfort. I do agility with my male dog as well (and conformation with my youngest female dog).

I've been very fortunate with the relationships in my life. Married for 34 years to the best husband a woman could ask for. He's my lover, my sweetheart, my best friend.
I have three kids, two married, one in a serious relationship - we all get along well - love and support each other.
My mom is 86 -we're like best friends. She's a source of strength and support to me.
I have two very close girl friends that I can tell anything to, and they still love me.
I'm a 58 year old student, and get along really well with the "kids" at school - we talk and laugh a lot together
My T? He has my life and my soul in his competent, compassionate hands - he is the healer of my mind and my memories
I've been very blessed - in spite of my past and all the struggles I wouldn't change a thing.
