Somewhere between a meerkat and an orangutan. He's usually docile and smart like a orangutan, but every now and then he'll perk up like a meerkat. Perhaps a prairie dog. Pretty funny to watch actually.

I think I see her as something of a lioness - strong and graceful, focused... maybe something about a penetrating gaze...

What animal is your T ?
I bints.

Me: "I'm not disconnected from my emotions. I just don't feel anything when I'm here."
(Pause)
Me: "Doc, why are you banging your head against the arm of your chair?"
Doc: "Because I'm not close enough to a wall."

It's official. I can even make therapists crazy.

Thanks for making me laugh!! I guess I wouldn't want to answer my own question on a bad day.

Love the responses! Love that many of you brought it up in therapy!! What would my T call himself I wonder?
Thanks for this!

Last t (who I'm still not over the guilt/manipulation/tryst thing) I had posted on this same thread a few years back was an American Mastiff (dog).
This T who I only saw 5 times - (today was the last day, thank God, and am being handed over to a LCSW in 2 weeks) I considered from day one to be a Great Dane puppy; long of limb and not knowing what to do with them. AND he NEVER shut up. So maybe a long limbed jabbering monkey. oy! Unreal - I swear I've NEVER heard anyone talk that much. He'd ask me a question, and I'd wait 3 minutes for him to let me answer it!

I didn't like your quiz. Said T was a porcupine, I was a mole, and H was a hippo.

Ok i took this too and got Penguin for myself.... also said I could be beaver or owl (I do resonate with owl quite a bit). Said old t is a Fox... or could be a bison or a sable antelope.

I keep editing this each time i find out more - love this game - tried all my 3 aspects on the three with old t (actually explains a lot) and decided this last t I just saw today is a wild dog - also explains a lot... then tried it on my mom (hippo) and my best friend. She didn't get three choices lol only Mole. Also tells me a great deal. Really interesting! thanks!

I could not guess at what the therapist's answers would be on the online test, but I came up baboon and wild dog.

Took this one: http://jerismithready.com/quiz/

T is a crow. 2nd - fox.
I am also a crow. 2nd - wolverine.
H is a crow. 2nd - wolverine.

Starting to think there's something fishy? squirrley? birdy, perhaps? about this test...

T, H, and I all have similarities, but we all have very distinct personality traits.

Reading the descriptions of each animal in this quiz, I see T as the fox, H as the crow, and myself as the spider.

Personality-wise, I think a beagle or cocker spaniel puppy. In looks, she'd be a giraffe because she's tall, thin, and graceful.

I think she's a gryffin. In appearance she's graceful and beautiful. Personality-wise she's bold and funny and talented and warm. And more than anything I feel like I can't quite catch hold of her (hence the mythical creature).
Thanks for this!

A fox - definitely a fox. Smart, wily, quick. And a hunter. When he gets on the trail of something, he goes for it. Great if you're looking for help solving a problem, but not so great if you're trying to hide something.

Hi is a great horned owl. He is a night owl and often answers my late night emails in the middle of the night. Thats when I started calling him my night owl.
Then I came across a really cute stuffed owl, bought him,
called him my therapists last name, and brought him into a session.
I asked T to hold him. He has become my transitional object.
I sleep with him when I'm insecure, talk to him. I have brought him
back to therapy twice since then, and is due to go back this week to be
recharged. I love that my T sits there with him, it's a riot.
