so we made our list and brought it with us and we actually went to her private office instead of the church where we usually meet and from the minute we walked in she was so nice. before we could even say anything she started apologizing profusely for the email,which she said had been her own frustrations and inadequacies coming through because she wanted so badly to help us,but not knowing our system yet and how we operate felt like she couldnt be of any help to us! needless to say we were pretty shocked! we could almost literally feel the caring radiating off of her. she said especially knowing how very,very deeply wounded we had been from our most current counselor abandonment that the email shouldnt have been sent at all. and it took off from there. we told her how awful it had made us feel,how we were close to the edge all week. you have to understand-we have NEVER before had a counselor own their mistakes,much less apologize for them! so we worked through it and now she much better understands what we need. she listened to our entire list and shes going to be emailing some suggestions for us to start working on to create more safety and security. she said shes keeping us in mind for a weekly opening as soon as one becomes available,that we really do need one,more if it can happen. she came and sat next to us when we slipped into a bad flashback and it just felt-right! there was a lot more but we just cant remember it all right now. we wanted to thank everyone who rode in our pockets and helped us with their support during this. you are all so awesome!♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

thanks everyone! sorrry its taken so long to reply but have had a very rough weekend,tried to push ourselves too far too fast emotionally and crashed pretty badly. it definitely feels good to know we havent been abandoned again and validated in how we feel.♥
