Trigger for sui self injury

Things have been really rough for me lately, and I have to tell my t today that I tried to sui (very unsuccessfully - was at home no hospital or anything) yesterday. I don't want her to be angry with me. I wouldn't tell her at all except I honestly need help and I need her to see how badly I'm hurting and how it isn't getting better. How do you even tell a t something like this?

the best thing we can suggest is just be very open and honest about your pain and tell her what happened. and trust she has only your best interests in mind and will do all she can to help you. we wish you all the best♥

i truely believe it would be the same way that you have told us here.that you wanted her to see how much you are hurting and how it isn't getting better. i bet she will want to talk to you about it and maybe make a safty contract or something like that .but i am sure it will be ok to tell her about it.

How are you doing now, doogie? Did you manage to discuss this with your therapist?

I did. She wasn't angry, just concerned. Wants me to talk to my pdoc about it. I don't want to do that, but she is insistent.
