So I sent T another email once I arrived at work:

H said that while talking to you was interesting, he dismisses your advice because he doesn't see where adding something to an already overwhelming schedule would help. He also said he likes to argue, but it is not a true passion. There aren't many people he considers worthy to debate. That is why I tend to be his debate partner. I am one of few he considers worthy to due to my level of intelligence.

He called out sick this morning; crash and burn. I am having the lowest day I've had in a while (see previous email). Very little sleep + PMS + work stress + H stress + personal stress = big whiny baby. I wish I had two hours Friday.

See you then.

Her response:

Hey Chopin,
Wish we had 2hrs Fri too- but we will deal with most urgent. Try to get some sleep!

I don't even know how I feel about that...I actually didn't expect a reply. I really do feel like a big whiny baby today. I actually wish I could put that smiley in an email to her...lol!

I think her response sounds warm, compassionate, caring.

That response sounds like something my T would say. Do they all skip over the word I? Is it a time-crunch thing or a T thing? I'm looking back through my emails - he says things like "Would like you to consider..." and "Couldn't have asked for a better..."
Thanks for this!

You are understanding your triggers. It is ok to feel the way you do right now.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
