I think he charges $90 to 125. I'm not positive my insurance covers at 100% and I've never got a EOB.

She charges $125 per session, but she discounts my fee greatly. I pay out of pocket (no insurance filed).

I go to a MHC for therapy this is what they charge for:

Therapy:
Evaluation $180.00
Individual $105.00
Family $130.00
Group $60.00

Psychiatry:
Evaluation $275.00
Individual $190.00
Medication Management $105.00

I am on a sliding fee scale and have a zero copay.
Sooooo thankful for that, ......as I am currently unemployed, and deperatelly need to be in therapy....

I go to the the MHC where I live also. I have no idea what their costs actually are. With the sliding scale, I pay $6 for my psychologist & because I financially couldn't afford to pay for the DBT group, they are allowing me to go without paying......not only that but they also cover my medicare deductible at the beginning of the year (wow, what a huge relief that is). They have outstanding psychologists.....wouldn't have considered going to a place like this in California.....heard nothing but nightmares.....here, I have better quality than I had in private care in Ca......it's truly been a blessing.

Dang, and I though mine was high! I go to a local mental health agency, not a private practice. I think this might be why my co-pay is lower.

$43 after insurance. I don't know what it would be before the co-pay.

His full, non-insurance fee is $175/session.

He bills my insurance for $125, plus my $25 copay for a total of $150 through the insurance.

He's told me that if my insurance denies 2x/week sessions, he'll just charge me my copay for the second session.

I think mine (private practice) charges $140, but due to many hardships, I go for free.

$100/hr. Full copay is $71.33, but I've met my deductible, so it's $35.67 until December.

SEK 300 (approx. US$ 43) per session. That's the normal fee for seeing a specialist doctor in my county - T is a psychiatrist who is also a licenced psychotherapist. However, I've met the maximum yearly fee for MD visits, so I'm not paying anything until February 2013. This is in stark contrast to ex-T, who charged the equivalent of US$ 125 per session and had no maximum fee.

£120 per hour. I've heard others paying at reception and they are paying much more (£160, and that was probably 18 months ago). When I asked her about it, she said that it depends when you started therapy and what you can afford. So her fees go up over the years, but she keeps her rate fixed for individual clients. Not sure how she makes the assesssment of what people can afford- perhaps by their profession, or the cut of their clothes?!

$150 / hr.

I have a few sessions left where insurance covers 80% of that. Afterwards I will be paying out of pocket.

But, he said if I run into financial trouble he will help.. somehow.

I pay $50 per session (90-120 minutes) for a private practice therapist. She works with our church organization. They give her an office for free. That is why she can lower her rates.

My deductible has been met so now I will only pay $10 per session until December. I am currently going twice weekly until school starts back.

I pay $120 for 45 minutes out of pocket. My T does not accept insurance and my insurance has no out of network benefits.

I think my T's fee is $150 for 90 minutes, not sure what 60 minutes would be. I pay $26 copay but my deductible is $500 so I'm still paying it off.

$2 an hour, I'm on the sliding scale, so incredibly thankful! The least he charges is $2 the most is $90, I pay for t and pdoc $2 they work at a county clinic where mostly they volunteer, it's a charitable place for the most part.
I'm so thankful, this $2 an hour doctor has even come to my home when I could not make it in to see him and was on the verge of a literal breakdown. And all I had to pay was $2
