Trinity, I don't know where you live... is it possible for you to move or travel to a bigger city that may have more options for you?

start here..... http://www.nmha.org/index.cfm?object...d=463&DoIt=yes

click on Get Help and there are a bunch of links, I thought this would be good to find a T and also one who isn't High Dollar, due to out of pocket.

Heres another one.. http://www.medicinenet.com/dissociat...pa-fl_city.htm

Trinity...here is the local college, you could call there too

Sarah.... isn't your T out of the country? I'm going to stick my nose in here and say that I would hate to see Trinity become attached to a T that isn't in the US also. I have read so many times how that saddens you Sarah and I don't think I can take you both being upset about her. Just my 2 cents.

we dont mean to be offensive to anyone on the couch thread and are truly glad that others are having wonderful sessions and all but right now,in this moment of time we just *cant* handle reading or hearing about it so please try and understand. if we dont take care of ourselves to the best of our limited abilities we are done for

I do understand. I deal with a much, much less difficult form of the same dilemma right now. You are in a much worse place than I am, I think, but I still think I can relate, a little. The thing about the couch is that it's never possible to predict what will come up - most of the time conversation is quite light-hearted, but then somebody starts talking about their T which is perfectly on-topic for the couch thread, and it's impossible to be on your guard against that. I don't think you are being in the least offensive: you are just telling us what you can't handle at this particular point, and we all love you and want what's best for you, so who could disagree with your taking care of TD?

Hi Trinity,
I'm so sorry this is so hard! It shouldn't be this hard to find support, it's hard enough to have DID and whatever else you're dealing with. I totally understand your frustration as I'm struggling to find good help myself. All people are concerned about in IL seems to be getting payed, and if you don't have your medicade card they literally don't want to talk to you!
I'm so glad you came on here and reached out. I would be glad to look for someone too. You shouldn't have to do this alone. I know we can find the right person for you all.
Hang in there, I'll PM you if I find something.

trinity ... I have a rare moment (and only a moment!) to pop in ... I continue to think of you and hope the best for you. remember that you ARE worth it, you are help-able and there really is someone out there who help you as you deserve. so many people here do love you and are willing to help you, too. please keep trying - and take care of yourself. you are worth it!
