My therapist cries and she can 120% handle everything I tell her. She's a strong, smart, compassionate woman. Crying is NOT a sign of weakness. It doesn't bother me at all. The times she's cried has been some of the most healing times for me. But, I totally understand that we are all so different that what works for one person may not work for someone else.
