Therapy has been going good (I think!!). I am not sure whether to believe it or not but i think so! I have been triggering a lot but the T doesn't look or seem angry about it yet. Each time I do, we go back and discuss it (in excrutiating detail!) the next week, lol. But it has to be done. She asks me a lot of questions that i have no idea about. She thinks its because I am still very disconnected with my emotions. Makes sense!

And the topic we have just broached is.... attachment. The dreaded attachment topic! Who knows where this one will lead!

I agree - this sounds very good! I'm happy for you! Isn't it so reassuring that our therapists can be so accepting of those times and willing to help us look at them, together.

I can relate to going back and discussing those times. It is really helpful and it's so comforting when my therapist is not upset by them and is actually excited to look at them and to learn more about me. My therapist uses an older term for trigger, and that is 'signal' which I like because it implies that there is something to be learned about what happened and particularly how it began. I can also relate to being asked questions that I don't know the answer to. I tell her she's speaking another language.. again.

I'm glad that you've found a T that seems to be such a good fit.
