So i had my first session with t2 my old t had a sit down with her before she left, I met the new t2 yesterday i had an anxiety attack right in the middle she taught me breathing excersises but i left after that, I miss my old t very much and she knows that as they were collegues anyway t2 told me that we would work on the transition phase first as its very important and she said its normal for me not to trust her and to miss my old t she explained its like grieving an old relationship i am glad she understands but just being in a new office with a new person i think triggered me.

i am also starting a co occuring alcohol and mental disorder group today in another building because i am a binge drinker I hope that goes well thank you all for your support love u guys

Hang in there sweepy. It got better for me - I spent my first few sessions with T2 talking about very little other than T1. I'm starting to feel better about it.

She sounds like a very good and knowledgeable T. I'm glad that you are in good hands Sweepy.
