My problems have been mostly personal, but I just found out our board of directors wants to shut down the satellite office location. That could possibly put me out of a job. I've got to focus on something mundane to get my mind off this.

Wow ...if I where being treated or referred to as a subordinate who did not do my work correctly, I would not really follow the person in charge either.

I am stuck at work until at least 6pm. It's been a semi-produtive day.

Hey, pbutton, did you notice that you have been a member longer than me, but I beat you to 2000 posts? Not that I'm competitive or anything. I am more loquacious, huh?

Pbutton and I shall wish you well from here. And probably silently. There is another chair at the far side of the library.

I do work in an office building. Beside a group home that we don't own (what you see in the pic). Across from the airport. This is the building. Yes I am aware it has a lot of roof.

My what a large roof you have...

The two individuals are not following the orders because my boss and I are trying to manage from afar. When my boss and/or I am at their location, they follow things to the letter.

I do not call people subordinates to their face. I am rather well-liked where I work exactly because of how I treat people...with respect.

And we can't use a damn bit of it.

Ex-boss set me up one day in regards to the roof. She called a guy about purchasing an old tractor-trailer container to use for storage. The day they set up to meet, ex-boss had an "appointment" and I had to meet him. He asked me where we wanted to put it and told me how much it cost. I told him we could not afford his price. He looked at me funny and said, "Well, why don't you buy that shed off the box company (located off to the left side of the pic)? I said, "We own that." He turned his head the other way and said, "Well, why don't you use the attic?" As I opened my mouth to explain why we couldn't, he said, "Have a nice day, ma'am."

And that was the 842nd time I wanted to kill ex-boss.

Okay. Caught up. I like the rooms and the furniture selection.

More importantly, Chop, I will pray that you keep your job. That feeling is horrible.
