If someone has no therapist and is having difficulty with ideation and plans, what should the person do? Who should they go to for help?

Go to an Emergency Room

Call a Crisis Hotline 1-800-273-8255 (nationwide)

Tell someone who will take it seriously

Often even with a T they suggest the sources listed above anyway with what is going on. Please try either the ER or contacting a crisis line and keep looking for that new T when you are able to as well. There is help out there even though it may not feel like it sometimes

Anti matter, sorry you are feeling so bad now, but you should consider ringing or emailing the samaritans. They are really good but they won't try stop you if you want to kill yourself so if you are looking for someone to help you, maybe the hospital or find a new T ASAP. (((((HUGS))))

there are crisis information/numbers at the bottom (way down at the bottom ) of the page its a gray box.. it says helplines and lifelines. click on that and you will find lots of crisis numbers that may be able to help you..

I also go to my medical doctor, they have been very helpful to me when I was between mental health treatment providers.

I echo everything that was said above. Could you try to do email therapy or something like that?

Hope you feel better.
