Hi- I wrote to my t earlier in an email. I know she checks her email before dinner and before bed. Usually she gets back to me before 10:30pm. So I still have time. But she hasn't replied. And I wrote to her about noon. So I know she saw it. And she isn't replying. I am trying not to freak out...

My T usually responds at a certain time too... But occasionally he goes out with friends or soemthing comes up... I'm sure it's just that.

I don't know where you are, but it's a holiday weekend here in the States. She may not have immediate access to a computer if she's on the beach somewhere.

My t doesnt take holidays... And Im in Seattle. I am afraid to check my email. Cuz what if there is nothing there... Then I don't know what to do.

Miswimmy1 -- hang in there. I'm sure she will respond and will let you know how much she cares and that there was a good reason why she hadn't responded like she normally does.

No worries, talk here or get a good nights rest, maybe T will respond in the morning

This is one of the pitfalls of emailing....waiting with baited breath for a response. If it's not an emergency, then hopefully you will be able to distract yourself with some good self-care - read a book, watch a movie, get some sleep.

If it is an emergency, maybe you can call - or contact a crisis hotline - or go to the ER. I know it's painful to wait for a reply from T, but try to work on allowing yourself to put it in perspective.

Thanks guys... I calmed down a bit. It wasn't an emergency... I think I was having a panic attack. I am going to get a restful nights sleep and hopefully she will have replied by the time I get up.

Something like this happened to me. I waited and waited.

Four days later I sent t a panicked follow up email and learned she HAD written a reply but never hit send! She sent me a blank email by mistake once. Errors and oversights on t's part are a possibility I think of now when I don't hear back. Maybe you should send a follow up email?

She sent a very reassuring message to me this morning. I outright asked in my message for reassurance. And she gave it. Normally she refrains from doing so... Letting me figure things out by myself. But she rly made me feel better...
