I'm sorry Setso. Could you ask for more frequent sessions or is it a financial issue holding you up?

Setso, I'm sorry that you are having a bad day. I have the same problem with T not seeing some of my bad times, and I see him once a week. Is there a way you can contact him and let him know how bad things are at the moment?

Can you keep a mood chart or write a small rundown of the day?

Setso, there is a wonderful on-line mood tracking program called Optimism Online that many of us over on the bipolar forum have discovered. You can really personalize it to be truly descriptive of your personal symptoms, and there is a place to journal each and every day. You could actually print off the charts and journals for your T to see so he a better visual of your mood fluctuations and the thoughts and feelings you have at those times. It is a free program. Check it out. It could really be a really concrete way to share your daily experience with your therapist and your pdoc.
