I chose LostMom3 because I am lost, I am a mom of 3.

It's a tricky choice.
1. You have to find it fast.
2. It has to be personal.
3. But it also has to protect your anonymity.

I think most of us would have chosen differently if we had had more time to choose.

It was something I could relate to...having roots in the mud growing and reaching out of the murkiness towards the light.

I named my blog "Living In the Well"
http://livinginthewell.wordpress.com

It came from rating how I rated my depression each day...
Level 1 being the worst, level 10...well it's been a long time since I've seen 10.

When I talk about my level of depression I use a scale of 1-10.

1. Face down in the bottom of the well.
2. Face up in the bottom of the well.
3. Sitting down in the bottom of the well.
4. Standing in the bottom of the well.
5. Climbing the walls to get out of the well.
6. Standing at the edge of the well.
7. Walking away from the well.
8. Running away from the well.
9. The well isn’t even visible.
10. I can’t even remember that the well exists.
Thanks for this!

Antimatter exists until it collides with its counterpart matter, and then both are anhialated in an explosion. Anti, as in I'm not like anyone else. Matter = everyone else. I am unable to attach to/get along with matter because then we both will be destroyed.

Even in the depths of my worst depression, the thing that I held onto was that I was not completely worthless because at least my kids are cool.

A person with an autotelic personality has traits that allow to engage in flow--a single-minded full immersion of oneself into activity. When someone is "in the zone", they operate without self-conscientiousness or even self-awareness. All emotions and thoughts are focused on what they are doing in the moment. They are the action. They are the moment.

My autotelic traits are millstones in some contexts. But when I am able to harness them, good things happen.

I belong to a Greyhound List. I love greyhounds. All the greyhound related names were taken.......until I came up with "Greylove." Bingo! I use it everywhere and almost forget it's not my real name.

When I came to pc I was looking for help from my anxiety.. and hoping that once I got help, I would be "healed" from my issues. It has a new meaning now, as I work through my trauma something I didn't think we would delve into.

I am highly sensitive/extraordinarily perceptive/intuitive. Like a baby my defenses and reactions are primal. I wail and I cry and what I want most is to be held.

I chose the word focus because my mind goes a mile a minute and I can't stand it...so I need to focus. The numbers are just my favorite.

I lost my way. I met my T when I was 21. With his help I'm hoping to someday find it again.

Such a great thread! I love hearing everyone's answers to this.
Well, for those of you who know the HBO series " In treatment," Adel from season 3 is one of my favorite characters. Even though she's kind of distant at times as a therapist, I think she deeply cares and has many traits that I'd want to have if I were a therapist. And 34 was just a number I could remember.

This is a great question!

I was having a good day that day which led to optimistic thoughts that I am a true butterfly. Small, fragile, and meaningless. Slowly I will grow and bloom into something more beautiful than ever imagined.

My T once asked me what negative outcomes I feared from disclosing my feelings for him. I said I thought he me be repulsed, disgusted, annoyed. He didn't understand "annoyed". I tried to explain how someone liking you that you don't like in return might be annoying, but he still didn't get it. So I cited Sally, Charlie Brown's little sister, who has a massive unrequited crush on her brother's best friend, Linus. Linus finds this extremely annoying, even though he still seems to actually care for Sally as his friend's little sister. The first time I ever gave T something I wrote to describe the way I was feeling in detail, I attached a picture of Sally looking lovingly at Linus, with Linus rolling his eyes.

So I'm Sally Brown.
Thanks for this!

Thank you SO much for this. I think it will help me explain something to my T.

Because yeah, you picking your user name was TOTALLY about me.
