I have carried T1 around with me in my head all that time and it is going to be strange not seeing him again. Part of me does not want to close that door completely, would be nice if it was slightly ajar just in case.

Thanks to everyone, it has been so useful hearing your views (and getting your support )

That sounds like a good plan. I think having the session will help reassure you that you are making the right decision. I also think it might actually leave the door ajar. If you just disappeared on T1 I would think they would be more hesitant to take you back. This way, T1 is in the loop. Only an immature T with a lot of unresolved personal issues would be mad that you are making the best decision for your health. And you wouldn't want to work with an immature T with unresolved issues anyway!

Good luck,
EJ
Thanks for this!

Yes uhat's an interesting point, T's reaction is either going to be supportive or nnt and if not supportive. then it is a good reason that I am moving on. Thanks. SD
