So, I've been trying to distract myself, but I feel so close to breaking down. I have never felt so not there in t as I did today. That has been the one place that I have always felt some emotion. Today - nothing was there. Now though, I think I might explode in some sort of Tasmanian Devil frenzy of emotion. I don't even now why I'm writing this. Maybe just for more distraction.

Yep. I would advice I loooong paid holiday and lots of TLC for you and that wrist Typing at work is highly contraindicated at this point. I won´t recommend you not typing in here though

I would take that as a legitmate note, lola.. Take it to your boss..

Anyways, back from my workout.. I suppose it is time to start thinking about either cleaning, or working on some stuff for our upcoming first Christmas play practice.

Hi all,
The drive to the workshop was tense but not impossible. Basically a few hundred feet of visibility. But the workshop was awesome so I was glad I went.

MKAC - Just reading your posts has my blood boiling. That's horrible of the school to do that.

I have to take kitty to the vet for her appointment and then it's to Bible class. Then time to relax! Big fundraiser at work tomorrow. Long day, but I get a free meal out of it.

MKAC: I agree that it's terrible about your daughter and the NHS. I hope you can fight this and win!!!!!!

Chopin: glad your house is clean! Wanna come and do mine now?

I had a good day today!! My new friend tracked me down at yoga because she had a schedule change and could go somewhere with me!! It was so, so nice!!!!

I have DBT tomorrow. I could skip it and see my T but that would be very stupid so I won't. I don't want to catch her germs anyway!
Thanks for this!

Um, no. That's why we hired people to come in and do ours!

Oh, I remember. Weren't you cleaning FOR the cleaning crew? That's what I would have to do too. My house is too much of a disaster to let any cleaning people in! My H hates them, too. But I'm glad for you. A few times I've had people clean my house and it was wonderful. We have to move the stuff off the floor and shelves first and that's next to impossible. Radical acceptance is what I practice, though I just threw out a huge stack of annual reports from 2011 that were sitting on the floor next to our steps going upstairs! Some were even from earlier! If my H wants to go through the recycling, let him!
Thanks for this!

OMG

OMG

OMG

It's still CLEAN!!!!!

I can't believe how good a job they did for $400. We gave them a big tip too because we know they do that hard work for little more than minimum wage.

Depends on how much it costs. We could probably afford $50/mo but much more than that would be a strain. However, they also will come in and do the regular deep cleaning (what they did today without the windows, blinds, oven, fridge, and cabinets) anytime for $200. Our budget's a bit tight right now, but we thought this was worth the expense.

We had to practice radical acceptance in having the cleaners come in. H asked if ours was the worst house they'd ever seen and all 3 said, "Not even close."

We got rid of a lot of stuff. We're both pack rats by nature, but we realized that it just wasn't worth it anymore, so if it were something that we haven't used in the last year or two, we threw it away, put it in the recycling, or packed it up to give away.

What if my h absolutely refuses to throw stuff out? I try my best, but he gets angry and has even gone through the garbage once to retrieve stuff. His dresser top has receipts from a few years ago, and loose change everywhere. He won't "see anyone" about his problem, either. Acknowleges it's a problem and that's as far as he will go with it.

There's not much you can do about it then. You can't change him. Only he can change himself. Acknowledging the problem is the first step, so there's hope.

Just stopping by the couch for a minute to say hi......My daughter and I were soooo sick the last few days, so I haven't been around. Just now we are starting to feel more like humans, LOL.

Hope everyone is doing well. I will try to catch up soon. (( HUGS ))
