"I *will* miss you"

"I look forward to seeing you on the 15th"

"you will hear from me... In the most ridiculous ways"

"I *will* let u know that I made it through"

"take care. Be well."

Then it was done. I won't see her till the 15th. I'm holding it together. I haven't cried yet. I feel empty and hollow inside. I miss her already.

One day at a time. I always used to think I'd never survive the longer breaks, and years later I still struggle a fair bit. I always try to look at it as something positive because at least I have something to lose, which is much better than having nothing or nobody to lose. The fact that they leave but then they do still return helps to develop a sense of stability, I think. Even though it's so hard at the time.

the ridiculous ways comment made me smile I know you are hurting and that this is so hard on you; but I hope you can also see and hang on to your T's care and concern for you and that it helps you through the next few weeks
