so my insurance removed me from my therapist who I was thrilled with. They want to give me a new therapist, and i dont know why. They wont let me see Laurie anymore. The new T called me at home . She sounded concerned and was really nice on the phone, but do i want to start over again? Maybe I should just give up on therapy all together. Also the new T "Dawne Wahby" I googled her name and a review came up that said her staff laugh at you behind your back and that they are unprofessional.

Do I start over with Dawne or just throw in the towel, or pay cash to see Laurie. I can affford to see Laurie maybe once a month if i pay cash. Dawne is free through insurance.

PC is free and you guys are nice and actually respond.

That's a tough one. Would it be possible to try out the new person, and if you don't like her, then go back to the old one. [/COLOR][/B]

I'd go see Dawn and maybe she knows why you have a new T. As for those reviews, you have to remember that clients write those and that one could have been written by someone with a paranoia complex . I am sure that Dawn will get to read your file and she will know a little history. If you decide Dawn isn't working you could always go the more expensive route later.
Thanks for this!

Can you go discuss this with the old one? I would think maybe at least one more appointment with her might be a useful thing.
Thanks for this!

ok so I emailed the first T "Laurie" and I am going to pay to see her one more time. At least to close things off and to try and understand what happened. Then I am going to try the new T.
