Would it be unreasonable to ask my P.T. to spank me? I am wondering if I could ask my analyst to role play to lessen my urges to be rebellious.
What is the probability he will say no? He is a psychodynamic analyst and I think it would help my therapy. Thanks. |

I personally don't think it would be reasonable--and besides, he could get into legal trouble with the guidelines in his profession if he did.

Why don't you ask him and let us know what he says?
I am certain he will not do it, but asking won't hurt your therapy. |

Whose role would he be playing if he did this? Could there be another way he could fill that role without spanking? Or is there a way he might fill a certain role for you that involves what you do, rather than what he does?

Sometimes letting the desire be known to your t and then talking about it without putting it into action helps. Sometimes I tell mine I want you to sit with me and hold me. We don't do that but talking about it and t knowing help. I think you should bring it up.
