So I went to see new Christian T. He has a very different style but swears it will "set me free". We shall see. I'm going to see him every other week and see how it goes. I really like him so far. Thanks to everyone who was encouraging. We aren't starting with THE issue instead we are working on my anxiety and depression first then THE issue. So hope and pray this works.

I am glad that you feel good with him..

However, I want to give you a word of caution... When he said "Set you free." does he mean the bisexuality? Just making sure, b/c it is never a Ts job to make you straight.. It is called conversion therapy and its not supposed to happen.

I can relate with you very well.. I hope you find the answers you are looking for!

No we are actually starting with anxiety and depression. It is NOT conversion therapy. If I thought it was I would have run the other way.
Thanks for this!

I see a Christian T too, and she used the same phrase when I thanked her for helping me to feel soooo much better. She said, "I'm glad that I could walk alongside you and help set you free!" Maybe it is a Christian T cliche, but I love it! Best of luck to you! My Christian T helped me immensely, far better than any other T I saw before!

********Trigger Warning******

Thanks I'm just having some issues with some subjects that came up. Like when I was r*p*d at 18 by a woman. I'm shaking right now. He is the one that used that word. I feel so disgusting just thinking about it. I'm filled with rage. I'm so glad I don't see her anymore even though we don't live very far apart. But when I do see her it's very rare...and she knows not to come near me because I'll just ignore her.

I'm sorry Melisssad.... it is sometimes very hard when Ts use words that we try to avoid..... like when my T used the word "abuse" to describe some things that happened in my childhood... in the end it is usually helpful ...

Maybe I should just quit T again and just deal with anxiety of not having a T. :/
