Before last session I had a headache and had my head in my hands massaging my scalp, I looked up and T was just standing there looking at me. As I was leaving he was standing at the window watching me walk to my car. This has just creeped me out so much I'm starting to obsess over it, but I know if I ring he'll probably say we'll talk about it next session. I don't know if I can last til next Tuesday. It's shaken me so much.
Thanks for this!

He was probably just worried abt you since you had your hands covering face. Making sure you're ok when you left

How come I can never see reason. Thanks 16th doc. I over react so much lately. I thought it was just creepy standing there. Why didn't he ask?

Was he sitting the last time you looked at him? Did he know you had a headache? Did you feel it was out of line for him to be standing looking at you or looking out the window at you? If it made you feel uncomfortable then tell him that it made you uncomfortable, tell him it made you feel creeped out. See what his response is.
A therapist should be able to handle this kind of situation without getting defensive.

Have you ever talked with T about comfort levels as in space between the 2 of you?

Just some thoughts. Maybe you're picking up on something or maybe not.

After session he usually sits back down to write up his notes, and has the blinds closed usually.

Yes, we've spoken about the personal distance and how due to my childhood I feel uncomfortable with close contact.

The blinds thing could just simply be they we're open today for no particular reason.
When you had your head ache and you were massaging your scalp how do it look? Maybe from his perspective you looked like you were in a lot of pain.
How comfortable are you with him normally?

I agree with meisjas, Ask him. He shouldn't have any problem with talking abt it

I was also thinking that he was just concerned as you probably looked like you were in a lot of pain.
Why do you think it was creepy? Do you think he is creepy otherwise?

No I don't think he's creepy. I usually trust him a lot, but this session I was taking a big leap of faith and telling him stuff I'm embarassed about. He also seemed concerned about my mood as i was a bit more distant this session.

Should I ring him or just wait til next session?

To me, this is more of a wait kind of thing. He may not even remember it.

He remembers just about everything. I will wait, but I'm still unsure of going.

to me this is the sort of thing that is better asked in person and then you can see his reaction, his body language, and its easier to get a real feel for what the T means and not just words out of his mouth...
