Today I saw my psychiatrist (I see him about once a month for med adjustments) and I spent the whole half-hour venting about my last few sessions with T.
He gave me good advice about how to talk with T about how I'm feeling. I just feel sort of silly though because I basically used the psychiatrist to get help with the psychologist. ![]() Has anyone else used their pdoc to get help/advice about their T relationship? |

I always ask my T what my pdoc needs to know the session before I see pdoc. So it's kind of the other way around for me. This time T sent a PM to Pdoc about me.

Yes, I've spent the last several sessions with my pdoc talking about my T (who then became my xT, not by my choice). He's a very kind and empathic pdoc, and there's nobody else who would really understand. We've got to talk about something, and that's what's going on with me right now, so I don't think it's weird at all. But I'm pretty messed up, too.

Not messed up, using all of the resources at your disposal
![]() Almost a year ago, I was really struggling with my T, didn't feel like I knew up from down anymore. I talked with my pdoc about the situation (she asked). She recommended I take a break from T for awhile, which was really, really helpful. |

I've talked to T about my pdoc. I think if you have an issue with a provider, talking to another provider about how to approach it can help.
