I am going to continue my ER viewing party tonigh.. I just made it through season 1 on to season 2! And for someone who was feeling so run down earlier today.. I have to say, I am proud of myself. Laundry is getting done, kids are bathed and in bed, living room is picked up and vaccumed.. Next.. I shall bring my laptop in the kitchen put ER on and clean in there! Maybe I just needed the day to rest!

Wild indeed. And no.

I had sausage I made, spinach and beans. It was tasty.

A friend watches Thrones on my cable. I don't like it so she watches it while I walk my dogs.
I have been watching reruns of Dobie Gillis.

Game of Thrones is an HBO series based on the book series. Really enjoying the tv series; the books are good and I'm reading them, but the series are well done and help make some sense of the books. He's VERY long-winded and is in dire need of a good editor. Far too many characters, etc. The series does some consolidating that helps a great deal and still stays pretty true to the novels.

Are those not fabulous?? I caught a few in the weeeeee hrs of the morning this winter. Maynard G Krebs is who I wanted to be when I grew up. He was politically correct before it was a thing. Before it was a good thing, let alone a bad thing. It was eerie, seeing who I modeled myself on. Not to mention, he's a guy? Totally didn't matter to me.

I liked Zelda (did not see what she saw in Dobie, I just liked her). She was fired for being gay and went on to become an attorney.
Thanks for this!

I did not know that. I liked Tuesday Weld, but couldn't understand what she saw in Gilligan.

Soft drinks will rot your teeth and are generally unhealthy. Would you take some beet, kale, celery, carrot juice instead? It is yummy and you can add chia seeds.

The Dobie Gillis Show is how we learned to be cool in the early 60's. In itself it was the epitome of cool. It WAS that 70's show.
