Slightly masochistic - but that is as far as I will go. And that is my belief for anyone who sees a therapist. I think they are the sadists.

Thanks MKAC. I really feel like a loser though. This would be my 4th t in a year: XT Frau T Trauma T...and now? I found this group that specializes in body dysmorphic disorder. They are about 5 min away.

I just don't know if I should call the trauma t and tell her or just leave it the way it is. I saw her once in Feb, once in March....due partly to her canceling and partly me canceling.

Is there a reason not to go back to her while looking for a new one closer to you? Are you just looking for reasons not to go back to her? Even with a couple of cancellations or a drive once a week is not always that big of a deal unless one is looking for reasons not to do it.

she's cancelled a lot actually. But I had to drive out to that town on Wed and it took me an hour and 15 min. It isn't even tourist season yet, so I can plan on a major ride in the summer. It's just too much. What kind of crazy person drives that far for an hour of torture, er...I mean therapy?

The weird thing is I don't even want therapy right now. I don't think I really need it either. But I have this urge to put another therapist in that gap. I am addicted or something.

oh...and it's not highway driving. It's bumper to bumper stop and go traffic. I could handle an hour on a highway. There's no highway that goes that way though.

Wiki....I totally get you about summer driving... my sister lives in a beach town and doesn't leave her house (driving) all weekend... but says its not as bad during the week.

I had another dream (usually I dont remember dreams) last night. In this dream I was smoking pot. If smoking pot (havent tried before) makes you feel as good as I felt in my dream, it is definitely worth trying...

It's crazy here all week long in the summer. It isn't as bad if it's a sunny day because everyone's at the beach, but if it's cloudy or rainy all those tourists are on the beach. The Cape has a population of about 230,000 but that increases to over 500,000 in July and August. It's insane.

I was thinking about pot just the other day. We watched this series about pot growers, and H and I were both thinking we missed it. I think that would be the perfect drug for me. If only it was legal and I could get it in an organic store.....

yea. I wish I had the nuts to do that. Really. I am so afraid of getting caught! It's only a fine here if you have pot, but getting it via mail, that would be a fed crime. Yikes. ha ha.

I use it from time to time. More effective than therapy for some things in my experience.
