Toss the crutches when ever you want to. Reach for them when you need them, and never think less of yourself. When you reach, you are saying, you know you, and thats a very good thing

Perna, I FINALLY get it!! I'm slow on the uptake. Yes, yes, yes - crutches you either need or don't need. Whereas support is something we all need at various times in our lives.

So, when I visualize my seeing T as needing crutches, I am saying that I visualize reaching a point where she is never useful or needed anymore.

But, if I visualize her as part of my support system, that, conceivably, would never need to be 'tossed'.
