I'm a little taken aback that a couple of my postings have been deleted without explanation.

I believe I-
1. Didn't say anything wildly inappropriate, abusive etc. Actually, my posts were meant with the best intentions and were written to be helpful
2. They were in the proper location- no post hijacking here

So you will let others come to verbal blows but you delete my posts? An email or pm explaining the action would have been a nice courtesy.

Not cool, pc

They deleted my whole thread before and then my account when I had asked for a name change, without a message or warning either. growlycat, you do realise this will probably be deleted too

IDK, but I cant even imagine how hard it has to be to mod this forum and to have to write a reason for every post/thread that got deleted too would be adding even more to it.
I do sometimes wonder sometimes why some just disappear...

My belief is that if a member asks to have your post deleted, it will be deleted. I don't know how often mods decide to delete things without a complaint.

I've had the opposite problem! I've asked for threads to be deleted but they aren't, and I don't get a PM back either.

growly, I noticed that when I responded to a really objectionable post, the objectionable post would sometimes get removed, and then my responses would ALSO get removed, because mine quoted the objectionable one, or because without the objectionable one, mine made no sense. My guess is that is what happened to yours. I noticed a horrible one that later got deleted, along with your (very well reasoned) response to it.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
