Or if you don't have scones, maybe muffins.

I would be pleased to have your fine accounting mind, and I love the way you talk about food.

I do a fair amount of vegan cooking, especially soups, because I'm quite convinced of the health benefits of eating mostly plant-based nutrition. I love coconut milk, especially the brand that's in the refrigerator section of my co-op, or almond milk in soups. I also like to soak raw cashews in water, puree them, and add as "cream" to my soups. Gives incredibly body and flavor, and a boost of omegas.

My coop just started carrying local goat's milk, which is so unbelievably delicious it makes me cry. I'm heading off now to have a matcha (sp?) green tea latte with goat milk (swoon).

I can't decide if this is LOL or totally gross

Or if I should add, my brain is not available for lunch, he's already had that.

Something simple that you like.

If it was me, I'd be freaking out cleaning and not thinking much about the food. I can't even begin to imagine T sitting in my home. I don't want to imagine it. It gives the shakes just to consider it!

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea of a T (any T) coming over for lunch, or "going out" with a client. To me it's such a professional relationship of sitting in an office and talking and being all clinician like. Like the walk with mine was so odd (and yet helpful) to me.

Want an update on how today went?!

My therapist came over today at 11.30 am. She sent me a message before she came saying that she would bring something to eat, and that was a huge relief! She brought baguettes, cheese, orange juice and strawberries (And something decorative for my new apartment as well )

As for how the therapy part went? I would NOT recommend home therapy! It was almost unreal seeing her in MY personal space, and I was all weirded out! I felt like I had to be a perfect host, and I didn't want to sit down with her at first. At the beginning we discussed light things, like how my exams went and I also told her about a new Facebook video I uploaded of me singing. Then she asked me about how I was, and we started the "therapy" part, but it just felt very weird to me....

My T is the BEST, and I actually do know her in my real life (she's my friend's stepmum and her family is close friends with the family I babysit and visit often), but having her over for lunch was SUPER WEIRD!! And I also found out that she shared my Facebook video like five minutes ago..

Boundary check, anyone?!?!!

I'm glad it went well. It must have been a relief that you didn't have to worry about the food.

Her having shared your video on FB sounds like a HUGE boundary violation, especially since it sounds like you hadn't given her permission to do so.

This whole experience felt off to me before but now---HUGE RED flags here....this doesn't sound therapeutic or professional.

Im glad it went well and that she brought food.
Going out to eat and doing things together with my t has always been one of my favorite things. I suppose i have just gotten used to doing therapy in odd places with her lately wth her gone, we are doing skype therapy from my closet sorry it felt weird to you. Are you glad its over?

I'm glad it went well, though I also wonder a bit about what seems like boundary violations re the Facebook video....

Anyway, now you know what it's like and you don't have to do it again.

(I hope, btw, that you don't have crispbread and cheese for every meal... it's filling, but crispbread has rather low nutritional value. I'm sure you know that already, and I am not trying to invalidate your ED - and crispbread is a lot better than many other kinds of bread, since it's not at all sweet and has a lot of fibre. I just hope you take care of yourself. )
Thanks for this!

I do enjoy doing other things with my T. We went out for lunch once, and sometimes we walk outside during the session, and that's okay. But it was too much having her in my apartment, so I definitely wont do that again!

Mastodon: I do have crispbread and cheese for every meal.. at least for now. My T brought a "food/eating schedule" for me to follow the few next weeks, enhancing the numbers of calories I eat with a 100 from week to week. So in like 6 weeks I will be eating around a 1000 calories a day.. or at least that's the plan.. Wish me luck!

I'm glad you know what works and what doesn't and that she is helping you build on things with the eating
