It's amazing how little I get accomplished between breaks. Sigh.

From the last time I was on PC about a half hour ago, I cleaned the toilet....bathroom trash can....the sink and shelves....That's it. Ugh.

Next - bunny litter, then cat litter, then steps and foyer.....that should take the average person an hour maybe....it'll take me all damn night.

It isn't all the time, just waves sort of crashing over me. I will probably just eat instead....cause that's healthier right? lol
I did beat a laptop to death with a hammer once. It was quite satisfying as the laptop had seriously displeased me (and had bluescreened out on me one time too many - it was already pretty ill before I hammered it - a mercy killing really).
Thanks for this!

If I decided to do them all at once it might take an hour. But it would in reality take me all month because I would never decide to do them all at once. The pet litters perhaps, but that is all.

So... (using terminology I learnt on the previous couch) ...you distressed it?

Indeed. It was so distressed it was in about a hundred pieces. Kind of interesting to see inside of it like that.

um...somethings look better un-distressed!

I have work to do, but am avoiding it similar to you MUE. I will never understand how you can go thru all this cleaning for company. Cleaning my house for company is unheard of here. Other than my Mother-In-Law wax, things are usually ready for drop ins at any given moment.

Apt/Mast - MIL wax is squirty stuff you spray on your floors to make them shine when you MIL calls and says she's stopping by for tea. Shine over the dirt!

I equally don't understand keeping everything super clean. I don't worry about people dropping by because I figure if someone knows me well enough to drop by, they know how I feel about cleaning. But I usually do not notice and so it is not until company is coming that I realize some people might notice dust or a lot of pet hair or whatever. Being much more than not condemnable/disease inducing is not a real priority for me.
Thanks for this!

Wiki, I'm using the company as an excuse to hustle...but ultimately, I'm hoping to get to a point where things can be kept up so that drop-ins aren't an issue.

yea, I just get stressed reading it, I can imagine how stressed you are living it. My heart goes out to you.

Stopdog...I don't mind cleaning, in fact I kind of like it. I have dog hair on "non vacuuming days", so if someone pops in on one of those, all bets are off! My H and son are asthmatic, so I have spent a lot of years keeping the dust to a minimum.

I googled caramel corn... it looks yummy. H and I pop popcorn a couple of times a month, but I've never had popcorn with anything other than salt. Just watch your sugar levels, granite....
