I was cleaning out my storage unit yesterday. Things I have had forever and a day.
Now, the T I have now (who has been my T for the past year) was also a therapist of mine 10 years ago. She had gone out of practice for several years. I would keep in touch with her now and again. But, in March of 2005, I had phoned her to say Hey and she was back in practice. And, I had some things I knew only she could help me with. So, she took me back on her new schedule. And, I have been fighting really hard to become healed.
Now..twist of fate...I am cleaning out the storage unit and I stumble across a journal she inscribed on 9-11-1997. I read thru it today. And, although I still have some of the same issues, I so am not in the same place with them. I was on SSD back then, now I bring in over $50k yearly. I have grown so much. And, it is because for the first time there was someone who really believed in me and taught me about trust.
So, I just wanted to share.

Yes, I did the same thing seeing a T I'd not seen for 10 years. It did wonders having that break so I could grow up more and use therapy better for myself.

Congratulations on your successes.
