I was wondering if anyone from the PC forum are friends in real life or if perhaps they have met others on here in real life? Just wondering....

I consider several people on here my friends, and a few are my friends 'in real life' in the sense that they know my name and we talk outside of PC, and/or we've actually met.

i do not have any RL life friends on here as i know of. I have recommended PC to real life friends, and I have contact with people I have met on PC through other means of communication daily... but I have never met anyone in RL that i met on PC.

I've met people I've met here in real life and become friends. It can be very nice. I think I've done that with most of my long-time online sites I visit.

I don't think I have any RL friends on here. I sort of wish I could meet PC people and have "real" friendships with them.

No friends from here. I'd like to meet pbutton, hankster, and stopdog. I don't have relationships with these either of these three on here but I think they'd make me laugh from my belly if we hung out.

The term "in real life" has always bothered me. I see my interactions and friendships that I have online as being real life; the dance floor is just different.
Some of my best friendships started on the internet. I have talked with one person from here on the phone and met another. I have met many from other sites and they are still friends of mine, both online and offline. One person I was talking with online lived only 3 miles away! What are the odds? I have found my friendships online to be very rewarding. They have helped my in person relationships too. |

I am not friends IRL with anyone here but I live miles away from everyone and will probably never meet anyone. I agree it would be nice to meet up with people who understand you and are going through similar.
