Mine does individual adult counseling (obviously), but he specializes in child/play therapy & adolescents. He also does family therapy. Most of the clients I see are children or teenagers.

My T works with adults and adolescent girls aged 16 and older (one of my T's specialties is eating disorders). She does individual and couples therapy. One of the reasons I picked her because she doesn't work with kids and doesn't advertise as a "family therapist."

My T refuses to work with children or adolescents. He says a big chunk of his practice now is a group of wealthy folks working on 'quality of life' issues. He does a lot of work with weight issues (primarily obesity). However, he used to do a lot of work with veterans and has kept some of those clients as he changed practice areas. So, he has a lot of experience working PTSD type issues.

My T works with adults and adolescents. He has worked with just about every population over the years, even in hospital and school settings. He said that at this point in his career his primary focus is trauma.

University students - my T works at the health center on campus, so she exclusively sees people who go to school there. (And she doesn't have a private practice of her own.)

I have no idea what mine did; I rarely if ever saw another client or even thought about them. I was referred to her and it was long before the Internet/therapists having their own sites. She "rented" her spaces mostly so they didn't have any personalization that was hers but most spaces over the years were adult-based so I assume she only saw adults and psychoanalytic therapy like mine.

My T mainly sees girls ranging from pre-adolescent to young adults in, or recently graduated from college. No surprise there since one of her specialties is eating disorders. She does family therapy though too I know (another one of her specialties), and will work with just about anyone as far as I can tell, but 98% of the time when she shares relevant (and of course, non identifying) information about other clients it's something like "I have/had a client who was also in a similar situation. She yada yada yada".

My T sees teens, couples, and women. She does not do children, and I've never seen an individual man leaving her office...only in the context of marital or teen/family counseling. I know that adolescents are a big part of her client demographic, probably the biggest.

My T is a psychiatrist and therapist. I think he only does individual therapy, and I know that he does not work with people under the age of 18, neither as a pdoc nor as a T.

She has worked with adolescents, families, and adults before, but now she exclusively sees college kids, as she works at a counseling center at my school. Though I don't know what she does during her summers. It's possible that she sees more people then.

My t sees anyone over 16, he does coupled therapy as well. His office also takes a lot of the DSS cases, as well as does evaluations for inmates, and police officers.

Mine is in private practice and, from what it says on his website, he does individual adult counselling, couples, parent/child, and supervision.

My T's appointment reminder card/business card says "individuals/couples" and "adults and adolescents".

EDIT: My pdoc's appointment reminder card/business card says "adult, adolescent, & geriatric psychiatrist". His specialty is in geriatric psychiatry.

My T works with adolescents, adults, and couples. Most of his other clients that I've seen have been college-age or middle-age men.

Before he retired, he was the Chief Psychologist at my University's Psych Services, so he saw University students, as well as supervised the staff counselors and directed the PhD interns. In his private practice, he saw mostly adults in general practice, occasional teens, and did psych evals/testing for DSS and attorney referred clients.

He sees adults with depression and anxiety disorders, grief, couples counseling. He told me he only keeps his client base at about ten at any one time. He had a three week waitung period when I first called to see him, and one of the patients in the waiting room (there for another doc) said she called to see him but he told her his waiting list is at six weeks now.
