advertise their practice on PsychCentral? I found mine T's profile on here. I wonder if he has a user name for the forum? No I am not asking him.

When a child’s emotional needs are not met and a child is repeatedly hurt and abused, this deeply and profoundly affects the child’s development. Wanting those unmet childhood needs in adulthood. Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.

Nope. As far as I know, my T doesn't advertise per se. He has a quick blur on the web page for the center where he is located. I'm assuming he's in the yellow pages for his number maybe. I found him through my insurance company's list which is probably where the vast majority of his clients find him.

Nope...my T does not advertise on here, and I seriously doubt she even knows this site exists, she a clinical director and a working mom. She has no spare time to peruse random psych websites.

Mine doesn't advertise with PC but has his own website and is on a website with a centre he works out of.

Are there T adverts on PC? I didn't know that, but presumably it's only for Ts in the US. In any case, my T doesn't advertise at all. His contact details are listed on the county healthcare website and in a couple of business registers. He doesn't know that PC exists.

I found the one I see on the psych today website. She is listed on a couple of that find a therapist sort of site but not psych central.
