So I was ment to see my T today after a 5 week break (she was fully booked) but it turns out she's sick today. I now have to wait until next week to see her for our last session before she goes on maternity leave. Its kind of funny actually; I have been saying for a while that I want a break for therapy. Be careful what you wish for! Originally I was not going to see another T after my current one leaves but I feel like I have had a sufficient enough break now and might see a new T.

Not sure what the point to this post is but I just felt like sharing I guess.

It can be hard when appointments are postponed but it seems that you have been able to find the positives of the situation in having a break and re-evaluating what to do when she leaves

I hope you have a good session when you can finally see her next week.

Yeah, it's always pretty annoying because you plan your whole day around the session (well I do anyway) and count down the days. Oh well, these things happen. Hopefully she's okay.

sorry it worked out the way it did with the long break and then a sick T ... do you have any idea of who you will see or is that something you will talk about with your T in the next session

I will be seeing a T at the same clinic I currently go to. T told me the name of the one she thinks will be a good fit for me and I read her profile/looked at her photo on the clinic's website and she looks nice. She is a bit older than my current T so it is less likely she will get pregnant and leave me (its happened to me twice) haha.

I'm so sorry to hear this - I would be very disappointed if that happened to me.

I hope things work out well with your new T.
