Hi-
I have decided to go to T looking like I do every day.

How am I going to advise her all of the negative things about HER techniques??

I guess I really should just spit it out. If she does not like it too bad, she does not care if I like what she says.

Thanks for listening.

I don't think I would tell her all at once; I'd wait until she said or did something that I did not understand or like and then discuss that incidence?

What do you mean, "looking like I do every day"? Do you dress up or something otherwise? I always made time to run by my house (which was between work and my T's office) and change into my jeans/comfortable clothes; no way I was driving 3-4 hours to/from and being in T an hour and a half+.

Hi Perna-

When i go there, i usually have washed my hair that day or the day before...wear jeans & a T shirt or short sleeve sweater....That is not how I dress every day. i cannot work, so basically I wake up, have a cup of coffee and brush my teeth. If I go out to walk the dog, I put scrubs on as I do not want my skin exposed because of insect bites.

She thinks I am functioning fairly well...She is clueless. So today I am not washing my hair ( my norm), and wearing scrub pants as my bottoms...I will put on a clean T shirt.

Maybe I should log on to FB while in her office and show her pics of me when I was functioning.... so she can SEE the difference.

Even the P NP said I was not ready for vision boards & thought logs.

Thanks for asking!

I advised her why I was dressed this way, and that I did not think she realised how low I am..I explained the neuro appt situation and how anxious I was. She said everything is a choice and I chose not to go to neuro...I advised her I could not due to migraine and probably the paralyzing anxiety. I advised her I thought she was too far ahead of me...she said she is trying to teach me positive thought techniques and how to stop anxiety attacks before we delve further...she asked how would I be if we started to talk about the painful stuff, and I said " a wreck", She said she does not want that for me, and she DID know how low I was. I said I needed something for anxiety...she said she would talk to pdoc, as I see him next week.

Did not get any homework.

WE will see.

Hmm.. that all sounds very "matter of fact" ish. How do you feel about what she said? I'm glad you were honest with her; and now you know that she really does know just how low you feel.

I feel as if she is still not correct for me.

She did mention the guy on the vision board.

*I have another thread "Seeing T in 5 hours"...I guess I was quite anxious about this yesterday.

Thanks.
