Couch 61: How Long Will it Last?

ya kind of worried a bit

Evening couch. Just had dinner. Cheese ravioli. Then I was still hungry, so I ate a hot dog and can of green beans. I'll probably still be hungry later, but I am good for now.

I might get the bus taken away from me. The kid I ride for hit a classmate today and got sent home early. They are having a meeting next week to possibly send him to a special school. If that happens...no more bus for me.

ugh.. finally sitting on the couch and relaxing after a 11hr day!

D starts her school year long dance class every Wednesday afternoons.. So, we don't get him until 5:45ish... after leaving the house by 6:35am. Hoping I can maintain this pace!

RTS-please don't get down on yourself about your reactions and feelings. They are warranted and you are entitled to them. I went without a T last year for awhile and it was pure hell for me. I hope you find relief soon.

MUE-pain sucks. As does lack of sleep. I feel for you.

Does anyone wanna explain why it was 90 degrees in the state NJ today? Yuk. There was no breeze. Felt gross.

I had a long day and feel tired. Left out at 7 and didn't get home till after 7. I don't know if I am more hungry or more tired.

thanks jersey. I cant explain the heat but my gosh it was hot and yucky and it isn't going to be much better tomorrow.

I think the weather will get more seasonable this weekend.

How long do think it takes to write a specialists report. I emailed T all the info 2 days ago. I realise it can't be easy so I'll give him til tomorrow.

I'm staying up late to watch a documentary on The Who. In the meantime, I have an hour to kill.

But its not late in NZ CE.....is it? I think I am going to be too slow for this couch...miss a day and another whole couch is at page 7 already!

So I asked my H last night via text because he shuts down with face to face discussion if the meatball thing was a punishment thing or a I didnt think of you thing? He said he didnt know. So when my s and I finally got home last night H was extra sweet and nice... But when kids went to bed and I asked if we could talk about it he got angry and said I already said i dont know.

Now before u all think I'm paranoid...he's told me in past that he does things to get back at me when he's upset...like last year he didn't acknowledge my birthday because he didnt like the way I responded to him when he was sharing his feelings about something.

Tired of it all...

ETA...but dont worry this is my one H complaint for this couch...

I decided to let my D take my car today. I really need a "stay home day". I am thinking I will take a swim later, the water is chilly, but I like it that way.

I had a blast last night at the event we went to. It was an end of summer potluck thing for the wildlife clinic. H got to meet all of my friends from there.

OH...I didn't tell you guys...my daughter put some hot pink highlights in my hair.

What's up couchies? I don't have to leave for work until 11:30. That's a nice treat after yesterday's 12 hour day. Maybe I'll do something productive with my 3 extra hours like mop the floors. Or not.

Hello couchies.... hope everyone has a good day, rain or shine. I am toying with working at home today, I am so exhausted from the last 2 weeks, I cant see straight. Travel a week from Monday, so Ill be hit or miss for several weeks. Thinking of you all, miss my couch time.

Could it be that one or both of you are embarrassed? So it's like angry embarrassment or embarrassed anger, not real anger? And disappointment or fear? And neither of you wants the other to see you vulnerable. That to me has been the hardest part of therapy. It may sound like I'm joking when I say I ask my t to marry me, but at times it has been just excruciating. But now I know that it's that ability to BE excruciatingly, uncomfortably honest that I'm looking for in a partner. But along with it comes taking responsibility for your own part.

Farther is out of surgery and now waiting for him to wake up

I've been praying Granite... I hope his recovery is short... Is this a day procedure or will he need to stay overnight? I hope you are taking care of yourself too...
