So I have decided to search for a new therapist. So, I have emailed one therapist about having BPD and self harming and see if she is willing to help me work through the self harm instead of banning it. We will see how it goes when I get the response. Hope my search turns up well.

I to have decided to put therapy on hold with T#2. I feel he is making worse instead of better. I have conacted a therapist who does group therapy and thought I give that a try. I also see T#1 everyother week. I is the voice of reason for me, keeps boundries and is professional.

Goodluck, I hope that you commit to work with the new one. From reading your threads it sounded like your old T was doing everything within their power to help you get better. When it comes to self harm my pdoc is of the opinion that if it is not requiring medical treatment then it is not something we need to discuss. And guess what, I havent self harmed properly in a very long while. The professionals tend to know what they are doing.

I hope it goes well with the new one.
In my personal experience, the people who hold themselves out as professionals do not often do a great job with sh. I found one who is good, but have interviewed a lot who would be terrible for me.
